Boats on shipyards are hoisted out of the water by a boat crane. The boat crane contains a slewing ring bearing and a crane gear. The slewing ring bearing ensures that the boat can be rotated with the column crane. The crane gear is used for stability of the boat crane. When the boat is rotated, the boat can be placed on a trailer for example.
