ADE-WERK : experienced, dynamic, innovative

For over 30 years, the extensive experiences off developing and producing spindle-driven linear electric actuators were the basis for the groundbreaking succes of the ADE linear electric actuators as the drive concept for navigation locks and barrages since their first installation in 1995. An environmentally friendly alternative for excisting (electro)hydraulic solutions.
With allmost 200 references the ADE linear electric actuators have proven themselves. And become indispensbale due to their quick and uncomplicated commissioning procedure and minimal error-rate, even under very tough and challenging operating conditions.

Engineering

Each produced ADE electromechanical actuator is unique. The stroke, forces, speed and conservation for each project are different. ADE-WERK uses a structured method which is being targeted to the right solution. From a standard checklist, first calculations can be made and often a first drawing and budget price is possible within a few days.

Productioncapacity

The production of special components, assembly and installation is carried out independently by ADE-WERK. Directly to the offices several production halls have been built for the individual disciplines.
The quality is thereby ensured. This is urgently needed, knowing that lifetime calculations of 50 years may be required.

Metamorphosis

The ADE electromechanical actuators are not only applicable to new projects, but also suitable for renovation of locks, bridges, weir systems and pumping stations. There are several references available. Also references where preservation of the historic character is a requirement!

Actuators for containerspreaders

We also provide solutions for container spreaders with the electromechanical actuators from ADE-werk. The actuators can be used in the spreaders of the container cranes. When a container is lifted whose load is not evenly distributed, the cylinders ensure that the center of gravity is in the middle of the spreaders.

Factory Acceptance Test

Is a Factory Acceptance Test required? No, this is only at customers request. Often this is agreed upon sale.
ATB Automation has good experiences with the FAT at ADE-WERK. All specifications wil be completed with the customer and the electromechanical actuators can be tested. Although not on the specified forces, but on functionality. Control of the stroke, safety with respect to the timely stop of the actuator, speed ..... and so on.
The FAT's were always successful and of value to the customer. A beautiful quote from a customer was "Due to the visit to the factory, we were able to reduce the commissioning time to a minimum ".
The basis of a successful FAT is of course, a thoroughly start of the project. Not only stroke and forces are important, but also all the electronics and the control thereof. ATB Automation all disciplines.

ADE-WERK is a German company, started in their own country with the first projects. Meanwhile, more than 22 years later, there is an impressive list of references. Only in Germany for more than 150! After 20 years, the first actuator has been inspected without any trace of wear. German engineering at its best.
