ROSTA motorbases
The ROSTA element is incorporated in a motor mounting plate. The motor bearings and belt or chain are relieved by the drive springing along by high starting torques or inertia. The lifetime is significantly prolonged and realizes energy savings of up to 20%.
Fully maintenance-free tension system. No need for periodical compensation of belt elongation.
Less downtime because the belt high inertia is relieved. Replacing the belt is easy by releasing the pretension of the motorbase.
Ideal tensioning answer for all belt drives from 0.75 kW up to 250 kW nominal power rating.
Available in 5 sizes:
- MB27: applicable on motor type 90S to 112m.
- MB38: applicable to motor type 132S 160L.
- MB50: applicable on motor type 160M to 225M.
- MB 70: applicable on motor type 250M to 315L.
- MB100: applicable on motor type 315M to 355L.
The ROSTA motorbases are easy to install. Each type has a separate installation manual available in which the ideal position is described.
